Holcomb
Lead for Strategic Capabilities & Investments, Bank of America Merrill Lynch
Eileen Holcomb is head of Strategic Capabilities & Investments within Global Strategy in Global Transaction Services at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this role, Eileen works with product and regional leaders to chart GTS’ strategic direction and define the future state for the business. Previously, Eileen was a member of the Payments Strategy & Innovation team where she helped develop new payment solutions.

Eileen joined GTS after completing an MBA rotational program in the Consumer Bank, working within distribution strategy and the Manhattan area sales and operations team. During this time, Eileen was responsible for the preferred-retail relationship channel, including client satisfaction. Prior to joining the bank in 2012, Eileen worked at Ernst & Young in their forensic accounting practice advising clients on complex financial problems.

Eileen holds a BS from Babson College (’06) and an MBA from Boston College (’12). She recently relocated to New York.

WHY THE AWARDS COMMITTEE SELECTED HER NOMINATION

Demonstrating rapid career development and advancement, Eileen began her payments career in 2011, and gained experience in consumer and wholesale payments. After only two years she was promoted to VP before being asked to join the company’s global strategy group. Today, she is applying her strong analytical skills to help shape future product roadmaps.

Throughout her young career, Eileen has consistently demonstrated a high level of performance and she has initiated, researched and developed multiple new product strategies and concepts, most notably a new cross-border payments solution. She fervently believes in giving back, and actively participates in mentorship programs and helping to facilitate networking opportunities for others. She is passionate about building diverse and inclusive team cultures and her tenacity of approach enables her to tackle even the toughest problems.

We look forward to watching Eileen’s career continue to rise. Congratulations!
